The Story of Stuff

"The Story of Stuff takes you on a provocative
tour of our consumer-driven culture–from
resource extraction to iPod incineration. Watch
this 20-minute, fast-paced, fact-filled look at the underside
of production, consumption, and waste. It’ll teach
you something. It’ll make you laugh. And it just may
change the way you look at all your stuff."

This video is interesting. It's a little one-sided and the lady should be a cartoon, but it delivers a
valid message that we should all be taking into consideration.

Frankly, while I agree with this video on many points I found the host incredibly condescending. I couldn't finish it.

From the part I did watch she didn't back up any of her statements with fact. I want hard data with real pictures not generalizations with cutesy cartoons. You traveled the globe for fucking 10 years now show me something and don't talk to me like I'm three years old.
